Why some cretinous oaf felt he had to attack it just because he wasn't watching it on "Hee Haw" escapes me. While I'm not overly patriotic, I would like to emphasize that not ALL Americans are as belligerent and idiotic as that comment string would lead you to believe. There are some of us who speak multiple languages, have mixed heritages, were brought up overseas and are well traveled, but as our elected governement shows, we are clearly in the minority.

Does it matter who or where he is from??? He is AMAZING!!! Music is an international language that can be appreciated by everyone. And when you experience this level of brilliance, I dont care if he was in the Congo, or the South Pole. His band is really good, too. I am an American, but lived most of my life abroad, and have travelled all over the world. I love the music from the swamps of Louisianna just as much as this guy's music.

It's not Claude Chalhoub. I looked up pictures and the two look nothing alike. So, who is this guy?

This music is so beautiful! I looked up to find out the name of the violinist as Claude Chalhoub, but that doesn't seem to be correct. I've been looking around and haven't yet found anything... can anyone help me out in identifying this mystery man and his song? I think he is Lebanese but I definitely could be wrong.
