Hi Guys!!!!

Its always amazing to read comments about islam. They are mostly caused from people's "misunderstanding" of islam. It is our responsibility as muslims to inform everyone of true islam, for failing to do so, I apologize, for the acts of "radical islam". I apologize, and for every insult and every negative act, I apologize. However, my apology does not give credit to the demeaning, horrifying and terrorizing act of any person's doings in the name of islam. In fact, we as muslim, condemn their every act.

I know that as a muslim I'm entitled to nothing. I might be thought of as a bad guy, criminal or even worse terrorist. I might be disliked, hated, and loathed. I have no value and my words might not be considered credible. I might be even considered brainwashing people's mind. Nevertheless, I have a favor to ask of all of you. In fact, I beg you all, each and every one of you, to give me a couple minutes of you precious time to learn about islam.

Please allow me to talk a little bit about islam too.

Islam is a religion that is based on peace, mercy, forgiveness, love, respect and many other good quality. There is nothing in islam that teaches hated, revenge, terrorism or any other devilish act. In fact, islam is against that. Islam teaches us to get rid of those kind of dark acts and replace them with harmony, peace, love, mercy, forgiveness and care.

Well, what about Jihad. Jihad means straggle. Straggle with one's self to do the best. In other words, do the best you can in everything. Control your self. Deal with people in a very nice way no matter who they are and "what they believe". Always put others first. Think of the poor and care for the sick and elders. Don't try to fool your partner in a business relation. In fact, let him/her have the greater end of the profit. Always giving, caring, and peace making is the bases of islam.

Jihad never meant war. Muslims were defending themself at war with non-believer. They were trying their best to defend themselfs. In fact, jews, christians and people with other religion lived together in harmony during Prophet Mohammed's life.

Islam is very close to Judaism and Christianity. In fact, the biggest difference between Islam and Christianity is that, Christians believe Jesus is the son of god. However, Islam tells us that Jesus is a prophets just like Ibrahim, Muses, and Josef. Futhermore, we believe that Jesus is the musaya and will appear at the end of time. We muslims will join with Jesus at the time.

Another "misinterpretation" is that the word "allah" means "the god of islam". I hate it when people think of it that way. "Allah" is just a name. In islam, there are 99 names for god. Nonetheless, there is only one god. The god of all creations. The God of Adam, Enoch, Noah, Hud, Saleh, Ibraham, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Jethro, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elijah, Elisha, Jonah, Zacharias, John the Baptist, Jesus, Mohammed and many other prophets that are not mentioned in islam.

Islam, like all religions, came to bring people to peace. It came to help the weak. It came to make people happy and give them a purpose to life. It is wrong to think that such a religion, that is filled with beauty to be the cause of the world's problem. Yet, muslims are always thought to be the bad guys. I guess I need to thank the terrorist for their help in creating the impression. However, I want to make it clear that "none" of the terrorist's acts is even close to any islamic teaching. I personally belive they are either people faking to be muslims or people brainwashed by someone who uses religion for his own purpose.

There is something I want to say to all Muslim. Why are you swearing at non-Mulism? Didn't the Quran say that you are not to swear that non-muslim so that they don't swear at Allah. How on earth do you want people to learn about islam if you, as a muslim, don't even follow the guidelines to symbolize true islam? Review your acts; Because you are a Muslim, by acting wrongly, you are hurting islam more than anyone else as you symbolize islam. Learn about true islam and start acting like a proper muslim. Remember the prophet and how he dealt with people and how emotional he was. Remember his kindness. Remember his love. Remember his humor. Remember his teachings. Remember the prophet and try to act like he did.

I do apologize for organization of this essay. I tried to vary my topics so that I could at least give you a brief idea of islam. Thank you for reading. I hope this helped you understand islam more. I really hope you read more about islam. Ask someone that is really willing to help and who knows the truth. Try to ask more than one person on the same topic. You'll get a better understanding of it. Once again, thanks for reading. :)

i think ill keep being a southern baptist because then i know im going to heaven, some muslims might be peaceful but there are alot of the evil ones so all you muslims go back to jihad and stop marrying our white women

religion is about seeking truth

notice that Allison's hair was revealed and merely touched the forehead when she was praying, which it is voidable and not complying with one of the rules of praying in Islam. Hence, she did not completely cover her whole parts of the body. However, may Allah bless her for being a muallaf and our sister.
