Thats funny some civics can easily blow away cars like this. Its called power to weight ratio something these cars did not have back then. A simple turbo on a civic will make it move along with the best of them. Oh my even if it was just .5 second slower on the 1/4 so what man.... It lost the race but it still at the end of the day gets good fuel mileage as is very fast for cheap. Turbos are better than a super anyways.

Nice car and no doubt limited fun but is all that you do with it just quick bursts of power and acceleration???? Please tell me theres more? I can understand a build like that for strait line racing but thats all. Cars ( even fast ones) get very boring very fast if its just a strait line thing.

Very nice American Muscle car, too bad it means S**T in a corner. American cars are not manufactured to handle corners at high speed (anything above 50MPH) :-(
So sorry you LOSE bid daddy! Any other European car will kick your arse on a normal road with, . . . wait for it . . . a corner. Sure now everybody is going to say in a straight line, but who gives a S**T about a straight line apart from dragsters. Its in normal driving conditions like roads with bends that a cars performance really matters because if you cant keep your speed through a corner it doesn't mean jack! However I must say that their is nothin as butyfull as a nice 8 cylinder ideling.
