Masjid-Ul-Haram is the greatest and the holiest place of worship of muslims in the world. In the center of it, a cubic stone building (6x6x6 metre ) called Ka'bah is situated which was first built by Prophet Abraham and his son about 3000 years ago. All the muslims in any place on the earth, face toward Ka'bah for their daily ritual prayers. Masjid-Ul-Haram was first built around Ka'bah about 1400 years ago but it has been extended enormously in last 40 years. Currently its area is about 360000 sq metres and can accomodate 330000 people. The building has 95 gates out of which 5 are the main ones.

      True believers will have nothing to do with you, an infidel. Of the 1.1 billion muslims in the world, approximately 10% are of the radical branch of islam that would like to irradicate all non-muslims (no doubt followed by the erradication of all muslims that don't believe precisely as they do). Make no mistake about it - the radical islam jihadists are from the great satan. They live and breathe hatred. One has only to watch the beheading (sawing off the head of a live victim) of innocent people at the hands of the beasts' servants to know who they are.

      Unfortunately, yes ... its true ... these jihadists are not portraying the right image of Islam, and killing innocent people. Religious extremism had been a persisting issue in almost all the religions .. and its a horrible fact .. that these extremist people do torture kill innocent people ...

    Abraham never went to Meccah. The only thing he built was the tomb for his wife Sara, But he did dig a lot of wells. And that was recorded by his disendents.
