    You should have left more of the pins in the lock when you took it apart, it was a bad show, no reason to use 2 picks by the way you insered the second pick upsidedown :-)

    Conventual Everest uses the standard C keyway just like a regular Schlage lock which are easy to pick . There's no way you would be able to pick a Everest Primus which uses a sidebar along with the regular pins which is similar to a Medeco lock . What you're doing is no big deal , so quit taking your bows .
