    My phone is about 3 years old and does almost the exact same things as that...its just not as sleek. It has a touch screen just like that one...has windows media player to play music...not as much memory...but still plays music...can do the same dial numbers on the screen...same S**t just not as new looking.Its and i730 I think...not sure...but its the same S**t basically...just upgraded...dont know why u ppl are leaving comments saying speachless when theyve had phones like this for a couple of years. I can surf the internet...load videos off the internet...transfer data from my comp to my phone...that new apple thing just looks cooler

    its only a 4/8gb, when they come out with 30-40gb then get one. its very cool but i would wait. i just bought 30gb video ipod, but when they up the space ill get one 8gb not enough for the money.

    This iphone is very heavy and thick. Battery doesnt last long and if you want to buy extra it will cost you more than $100 and the battery is soldered to the phone itself meaning you need to leave your iphone to the dealer to change the freakin battery. Too much hustle.

    Remember when ipod hit the shelves? There were various makers which produced similar mp3 players with, if not more, capabilities and functions. It's a battle of aesthetics and Apple is poised to rule in that aspect. Doesnt matter if Iphone's capabilities are old. It's how it is packaged is what's going to count. Almost everyone has an Ipod, now it's time for the Iphone. You're neighbor's going to have one and so will you haha

    The japanese are pretty unimpressed with the Iphone. For about 3 years now, their best phones have had all the capability the Iphone does, plus GPS, maps, and the ability to act as a debit card. All for around 200 bucks too. We are definitely behind them on this one..

      I live here in Japan and that kind of technology has been around for a long time.Even the newest phones on the market sell for around 200 dollars.The phone companys make their money off the telephone charges and net services not the actual phones.

    called SONY ERICSON phones. but they don't have a stupid apple logo, don't need mac and don't have and don't have a profit for the producers of 50%. see the logic in that ; ) and now you now why apple products are that expensive, almost all their products have a profit of 50%. it's like buying air ; )

Mattresses have 400%, diamonds have close to 1000% profit.
