Hey this programs only job is to tell you or at least seem faster but they leave your intenet at the same speed they just do that to get into your PC and take your info and to put spyware or adware!!!

You never get exactly the bandwidth your ISP sells you. There are other factors that can affect your throughput. So, even if your ISP says you get 512kb down, you won't have that throughput exactly due to factors on your computer, on the network, the ISPs network, and on the internet.

At best, these "patches" might tweak MTU or TCP window settings to squeeze a little more throughput ..
At worst, they might be viruses/spyware.

The thing is, you really should thoroughly test your speed before applying any patches or tweaks to make a real comparison.

Personally, I would avoid patches and tweaks to the TCP settings.

Optimize other things on your system, like plenty of RAM, fast harddrive, a decent broadband router, stick with wired (instead of wireless), for faster surfing.
