brain festival of an idea to build a solid rocket production plant on top of a natural gas pipeline next to a marshmellow factory? This person should have realized that you need a large amount of graham crackers and chocolate to create a "giant smore."

the plant made oxidiser for rocket fuel and isn't supposed to burn on its own. They had over 4000 tons stored there due to the shuttle disaster, they kepted up production even though no one needed any.
the first blast measured 3 on the richter scale the second 3.5 and was heard and felt over 20 miles away in las vegas.

This is a solid rocket fuel depot for nasa rockets and tests of new rocket fuels stationed in either Nevada or Arizona and 1 person died after saving the lives of over 100 people.

near henderson when this happened. There are pipelines of all kinds directly under homes,businesses schools, you name it. Some are very deep and under high pressure. In some cases like in Tucson a gasoline pipeline was very near new houses. No one knew it was there because there were not up to date maps and the gas company didn't furnish maps. It sounds crazy that there was a pipeline under this plant. But it might have been there to supply needed gas for equipment to manufacture the oxidizer. The plant was relocated to southern Utah. Just about every building in Henderson had damage of some kind. From broken glas to structural damage. A school some two miles away had damage that was bad enough to close the school. Lights fell in classrooms and luckily no one was hurt. If you were not there no reason to make such stupid comments

They edit the sound of the explosion to come at same time as the explasion. The narrator just said that the footage was shot some 5 miles away and boom! The sound miraculously arrives at the same time as light.. of course its much more impressive that way but anyways.

I've seen the full footage of this somewhere else, and they stated that the last explosion (the largest one) had the explosive power of a small nuclear bomb. You can see the shock waves radiate across the desert. Believe or not, people as far away as 5-10 miles were hurt from shattered window
