  • Impresionante

  • 140 mm?

    That's a .50 M2 mg. 140 mm= 5.5 inches.

    • 12.7mm = .50 cal

the 140mm is the overall length of the .50 BMG cartridge.

And the caliber of the gun is .50 which is 12.7mm like stated above.

  • i have a question here

the actual point of impact proves to of become worn out by the bullets casing, this leads me to beleve that if they shot one single bullet, at a series of swords, they would be unable to distroy the sword, the srap edge must have become dull after the first bullet hit, the few others weakened and dulled the bullet furthur increaseing surface tension and thus, alowing the bullet to become focusesed in one sp[ot made for the end of that beautifull sword, probably handmade, and worked on with true dedication and passion. as you saw the swords desinger standing next to his pride and joy, they took little proof that the bullets are better then the sword. infact the sword would of dispersed ober 60% of the bullets forward velocity have it been hit directly on the blade, this probably takers a lifetime to master, and we cannot devote such time to this stuff anymore, but the slahan methods if i speeledit right. are verry verry impresive and proven over 3000 years old :) i hope this helps, in closing, the bullet was hitting the more blunt side, because the sword was hit to many times to maintain srarp blade. it became dull after each bullet. id wager to say 1 bullet wouldof never distroyed it :P

    • Ummm, lol

Doesn't the video exactly prove that the sword is better than a .50 cal round.

So everything you just tried to explain above was already proved in the video.

The video doesn't tell gun wins, but that the sword wins. LOL

And proper use of commas and periods would make your test much more comprehensible. :)

But good that you agree the katana is better :)

  • hmm

saw it like 2 years ago maby more but still impresive

  • It's physics!

It cut the first bullet because it was blunter and the sword had a smaller surface area than the bullet. the browning's bullets have a smaller surface area hitting the sword than the original bullet. Besides, in a fight 1000 times out of 10 I'd still take the original gun they used, against some one armed with the sword

    • but really...

Those swords were used thousands of years ago, and the technology for those guns has only been around about 60 years. I mean, I'd sure as hell rather have the 50 cal in a fight, but it's just amazing to me that those swords were built that strong that long ago
