- some ppl are ignorant.
THere is such a snake as the spitting cobra and that lion is no fake either. and it wasn't put together on photoshop. Spitting cobras inhabit the same areas as the lion so encounters are more common that you realise.

Spliced footage - apart from the very start, at no point thereafter do we see the cobra and lion face to face.
The cobra could have been spitting at anything, and temporary not permanent sight impairment is the result of a cobra squirt to the eyes.

We have lot of spitting cobras around out house. However, we also have 3 dogs that knows exactly how to take care of them. A few times a month some of this reptiles sneaks in to our garden, but every time the dogs takes care of them. Simply, one of them aim for the neck and then holds it firmly, while the others pull in the other end until it break up in pieces...it always ends up in a "fragmented" and very dead cobra...
