People always tell me I should drink because it is fun. I've partied all over the world and had a blast without a drop of alcohol... yet wherever I go I find the drunks beating the hell out of each other. Alcohol turns you into whatever you times ten. That is why assholes fight when they are drunk and then they go home and beat the S**t out of their family.

I have experienced the EXACT same things that you speak of and have arrived at the EXACT same conclusion. Alcohol , for the most part, causes nothing but grief for FAR too many people. I am now 100% straight and have a GREAT time at the parties I attend. I agree with you 100%

Alcohol brings out raw emotions in people. Some people are very angry or feel they need to prove themselves. Others just want to have fun. So if you want to have fun, do it - with or without alcohol. It's not the alcohol's fault.

if you're an ass, you'll pick a fight drunk or not, i drink on weekends with my friends, i party a lot, and yet i only had a fight once in 27 years, and i didn't start. So, i guess you can drink if you have brains, don't care if my IQ is 1 or 300, i don't believe in that S**t .

you don't wanna get in the middle. The best thing to do is let them duke it out for a couple of minutes and then separate them. That way at least with a few punches given and taken, you get it out of your system and then you fukin' shake hands and have a cold one. That's how fights are done!

I never had a fight while I was drunk (well I don't fight since I beat up a guy when I was 14) and I always avoid them because when I drink I'm on a party mood not a fighter mood.
But yes, there are lots of people who just love to start fights at night. Still I'd rather walk away thinking how stupid they are than screwing up my night just because an asshole starts picking with me. When some asshole tries to piss me off I know that he isn't worth the trouble he's just a piece of S**t trying to get on my nerves.
Drunk or not I'm not willing to fight unless it's a matter of life or death everything else is imature and whatever ugly names you wanna call it.
You control your mind, if you can't do that when you're drunk then don't drink at all. I have a friend with this problem and he stopped drinking he just smokes pot now hehe. (I don't mean you have to take any substance to have fun, it doesn't really matter as long as you're having fun)
