Explanation
Ok. The password that I showed is the password to modify. So what would happen is when you try to save it would ask you for the password. However this security is useless when the password is stored plain text :)

But to be honest and fair, when you protect it for BOTH reading and writing, MS encrypts the whole file. You cant read anything in it.
