Chris Angel Predicts The Future

Ok im a magician and i can say that i do kno how to do this trick..but saying this is easy is WAY off. Even if the camera man did tell him there is no way it is EASY to switch a piece of paper in a very tight clip..not to mention write it on the paper in the first place. I find people saying things like this entertaining because im a magician. They think everything is easy and any1 can do it any day...but thats VERY wrong..this stuff takes tons and tons and tons of pratice...so the worst thing u can possibly say is that it is easy. Noone expects it to be real...none the less its still very cool and amazing...and figuring it out is not easy...o and by the way buddy...thats not right at all the camera man had nothing to do with this...I have his full set of revealed magic tricks.

I hate to ruin it for those who believe, but I watched Criss Angel perform on the streets in Vegas and saw him plant a lighter on a spectator before asking to use if for a trick. He is great at slight of hand, but he uses tricks just like everyone else.

I'm not sure you're being really truthful as I too see.

A lot of magicians do use illusions as does Criss Angel. However, there are some who vibrate at a different frequency and can do what others can't

This is because it is a TRICK!

Just because you do not know how it is done, does not imply that it has anything to do with aliens, remote viewing, psychic phenominon, spirits or whatever. It is simply a magicians trick.

I have seen the Amazing Randi do a similar trick without claiming it to be anything other than a trick. As he would say: "If Chris Angel is doing this trick using psychic or supernatural means, he is doing it the hard way."

there are peaple that can see the future so tis is totally real as everything else that he does, he is a occultist, and everything u see is not real only the 75% of it, but this is not a trick this is for real. anyone can do wat he does, cuz i can, just give it a try! read some occult books and practice, practice makes perfection.

If, however, you can indeed do this, then I suggest that you contact the James Randi foundation (www.randi.org). If you can perform under conditions in which the information you get from psychic means can not have come from ordinary means, then they will give you one million dollars. It is called the Randi Prize and it will be awarded to anyone who can demonstrate any psychic, supernatural, or paranormal phenomenon under controlled conditions.

According to your post, it is yours for the taking. Use the money yourself; donate it to your favorite charity, set up a psychical research foundation, or what have you.

If, however, you can not do these things under controlled conditions, then why would you believe that someone else could?

If there are people who can predict the future, as you say, then why did no one speak up before 9/11? Not a single "psychic", not Sylvia Brown, not Jonathan Edwards, and certainly not Chris Angel cam forward to tell us that this terrible event was coming. Did they just forget to mention it? Are they Al Qaeda sympathizers? Or do they just not have the ability to see the future? I submit that the latter is the answer.

Having an open mind does not mean that you have to accept as fact any claim that is made. Is it close-minded to not listen to the claims of holocaust deniers? Is it close-minded to dismiss the ratings of the KKK?

All I ask for when presented with claims of the paranormal is that it be shown to me. If you have psychic powers, I am more than willing to allow you to prove that you do. The fact that I ask for such proof is in no way close-minded.

For example, here is a pre-test. If you can do these things, tell me how many products are listed on my website. Or tell me the nickname I use for the product I list in my patent. Or the birthdate of my fiancé'. Or the name of the dog I had as a child. How about the make and model of the car I drive, or the number listed on the odometer to within, say, 250 miles. You should be able to do one of these!

If you achieve any of these, then I will tell everyone here that you did and set you up for testing at the James Randi foundation. I would love for you to be able to do it, because, as a scientist, it would represent an entirely new area of physics to explore and it would re-define the very nature of reality. Every scientist I know feels the exact same way. But we also realize that there are many, many, people who make these claims to sell books, appear in talk shows, or otherwise make money. Therefore we ask that you demonstrate to us that you are not one of those before we change the very fabric of scientific research based on your claims.

I hope you pull it off! I hope you can tell me these thing that you have no terrestrial way of knowing and I wish you the very best of luck. You will forgive me, however, if I do not hold my breath.

I checked out several sites about Mr. Randi and found several sites that show HIM to be a fraud. He's just making a name for himself by going after talented people. He's the one who rigs things....he's the one that won't print who really can do what he says can't be done. I think he should be investigated for the fraud that many have found him to be. Yah I did the research but you stopped at his page and took it for truth...look at ALL the sites that prove he's a fraud then we'll talk

You don't do much ready outside your scope of whatever you do. You don't even have to research the net, just go to myspace and read about or join any of the mediums groups, psychic etc...there are plenty of us who don't feel we have to get your approval or get you to believe. It's a shame you aren't open minded as most scientists are in many respects to do some research yourself rather than relying on a foundation that wants to disprove what they don't and can't understand. It's a gift and I guess not everyone has it. Millions believe in the bible and it's stories without ever being there so what's the big deal with believing people of today can also accomplish things you don't understand. Do some more research and try to see the light on your own, we all have the ability and you may surprise yourself.

Personally, I'm not gonna take anything seriously from someone who can't string a 5 word sentence together. And until I see some prove, this is one man that remains an unbeliever. Or maybe I'll just "start with some magic book."

The two terms are identical. They both describe phenominon that those who believe in them either can not or will not reproduce under controlled conditions. If you can do these things prove it. This is all that science asks. When science asks you to prove that you have these powers, you call them closed-minded and STILL refuse to prove it.

If you can not accept the possibility that your powers do not exist, then YOU are closed-minded, not those who demand proof. It is the same as if I were to say that I had an invisible baby dragon sitting next to me and call you closed-minded if you do not believe me.

She stopped and read the paper in the clip on the ribbon while the cammera was on him, then proceeded to the correct isle...check out her body language as if shes looking for the insructed item

I love when ppl have these half baked theories of how he did it, and trying to expose it. Chris Angel is an amazing magician, you should check out his show, its awesome.
As for the little paper in the isle, that's stupid. If that was the case, they would have edited the paper out. It can be done digitaly. These guys arnt stupid.

Thanks for the first REASONABLE comment I've seen on this thread. As a fellow student of magic, I give Chris the credit he deserves for his wonderful close-up work. He is trying to bring this "street magic" back into the mainstream (As is David Blaine--- who has gone a bit off the deep end in my opinion)

This illusion does, of course rely on the help of an insider and some quick slieght of hand, but nothing as ludicrous (Sorry for the "big, scary" word, everyone) as described here. It still is a great illusion- the simple stuff like this is always the most impressive ...

this trick could be done in different ways: the first is , how said, substituing the paper, the second, easly is that the girl is a partner. she knows wich item choose.... no other way to do that.
