  What this trick is doing is sending the coin up past the electronic eye that reads when a token has been dropped. These machines only take one kind of coin/token for the most part. Vending machines accept nickles, dimes, and quarters so the mechanism is a differrent set-up. The coins go down the main chute and then to it's corresponding slot depending on what coin it is before it is read by the machine. But you never know untill you try. I could be wrong.
