    I hope to join the ranks of doing anything I want if im willing to practice,To alot of scoffing at,I really want a snub nosed .22,I want to get a s&w 317 1n7/8 and get good with it.I know it will be a challenge,and I want to disprove to people that I absolutely need a 6 inch barrel to get any accuracy.

    There are no dumb questions. I do not know if I understand yours though. We were using 22 Long Rifle ammunition. The projectile is moved down the barrel with a powder charge. There are pellet guns that shoot a .22 projectile which is moved down the barrel with air from a chamber inside the gun or a gas cylinder. I hope that answered your question.

    18 to 24 feet we did not pace it off exact, we were on an old military two lane road out in the middle of the desert. The target stand was on one side and we were on the other.
