Oct. 2006. One of my first videos. You can see why. A clean paint thinner can is rinsed out and a little water is added. The can is heated until it is filled with steam. It is quickly turned upsidedown and placed into an ice water bath. A vacuum is created and the atmosphere crushed the can like a grape. NICE

  • How it's done

    simply heating up the air inside it works, but a beter way to do this is to put water into the can and heat it up causing water vapour to replace some of the air. then do as shown in vid and flip over and dip into cold water.

    the change in temperature instantly liquifies the water which lowers the outward pressure of the water particles.

    my chem teacher did that only with a pop can. a better effect imo.
