Get Outta Town - Madrid, Spain

time, Joe finds himself in Madrid, Spain, a city and country infused with culture, history and a love of the arts.

Joe meets his co-host, Rosa, a trained flamenco dancer, at Puerta del Sol. Before Rosa teaches Joe to dance, she wants to show him the sites of Madrid, so that he may be inspired through the culture and art of the city.

In the Calles Princesa and San Bernardo neighbourhoods, Joe sees great shops, cafes and a general art-school ambience. Hungry, the pair heads to La Latina neighbourhood, where they indulge in some Spanish-style tapas for lunch (but, not before Joe learns to order his food in Spanish!).

In the walled city of Toledo, Rosa shows Joe the cathedral, synagogue and mosque, and explains the historical significance of the city. All of this culture and romance seems to have really inspired Joe, and he’s ready to take his flamenco lesson from Rosa. After he’s learned some basic steps, Rosa leads Joe to a flamenco dinner-show, to see how the pros do it! For the perfect end to their day, Rosa takes Joe for one last Spanish tradition – churros dipped in chocolate! Delicious!
