    • Pollution at the Great Wall

      I had been to this same location, Badaling Pass on the Great Wall, back in 1988. Visibility then was perfect.

      Now I am back in 1996, and air pollution was so bad in many places that views were ruined. Photographing smog at the Great Wall required a pollution song, and Lehrer had one which I chose to use for few scenes.
