  • The answer

    The glass table top has a hidden hole in it. When he picks up the salt shaker and then asks the girl to hold it under the table, watch his left hand - he puts it right at the edge of the glass, but the table continues for a foot or so towards the camera - the rest of the glass, with the hole in it, is in there, hidden inside the table. (It's one big piece of glass, bigger than the glass you can actually see). He then drags the GLASS from his left to his right, using the edge of his hand, with the part with the hole in it being hidden under his wrist as he does this (notice his sleeves are now down to his wrists). Then he covers the hole with his left hand, and pulls the salt shaker through the glass, through the hole. Watch what he does when he pulls the salt shaker out - he pulls his lift hand and ARM across to his left, which allows the glass to slide back (presumably under a spring) - the hole sliding back under the table, covered by his forearm - then he drops the salt shaker onto the glass top. Why would he perform that odd manoeuvre with his left arm otherwise?

      The glass table is a special prop, and some of the audience may be in on the act, and it wasn't performed spontaneously at all. It might be possible for him to perform this trick with people only sitting in front of him, but with the number of people who are around him, I'm sure some of them could see him drag the glass and covering the hole (hell, some of the people MUST have been looking right over his right shoulder!)

      15 character words are usually not words..! dont u agree?
      they are either links or urls to some websites..and this is the against metacafe-user agreement.
      Its true people can still divide their links but hey, its makes it abit harder to actually jst click and visit the website.. but i do agree, other means should be employed in preventing website linking..or the limit stretched to something like 20

      Why do other user's get to post word's that exceed the 15 rule? Also I was wondering if {as a suggestion for the user's} you could a possibly include a select panel in the system menu for non viewed item's / new item's so user's can select it and only receive new or unviewed item's? Thank's.

    Im convinced that there is nothing these guys can do to convince people that there exists real magic. Because If there was real magic people like themagic's Brains would short curcut. It make people sleep easier thinking theres not such thing as real magic. Even when I guy jams a coin inside a sheet of glass its still not good enough.     After dropping the coin on the table, he passes his hand over the coin (that's when he makes the switch to another coin that looks like it but is magnetic). When he puts his hand over the coin, he's using the ring to magnetize the coin, and then put the other coin under it. As far as I know.

      I saw that as well and this is how he does the coin trick, although the salt shaker trick is a little more difficult to understand. You can tell he does a "force" with it and the pepper shaker.

    i think he hid an extra quarter in his hand right before he put his bottom hand under the table.
    plus right before he shows the quarter underneath the table he keeps moving his top hand like he was trying to grab it, and he pulled his top hand away with only his thumb and index finger showing like he was hiding the quarter on the top of the glass in his hand... case closed.

    A little brother to the guy who walked through a shop window lastly, ehm, without breaking it I mean. I like it. It'd fantastic I mean.       English is NOT the easiest language to learn, and so many people speak it because 1. the British empire was the largest empire ever and 2. it is the language of the superpower of the world, ie America.
