    • windows movie maker is included in xp

      it works for basic stuff and you prob have it already installed. Nero 7 Site comes with nerovision which does editing and DVD authoring it is an easy interface, has good dynamic text in the video editing, also codes to mp4 format.. but mostly it is nicoe for animated DVD menus. I mostly use adobe premiere pro because you can lay like 99 layers of audio and video. sony vegas and pinnacle are also widely used... hope it helps..thx..peace

      they can both use both at the same time independently...

    Ok if you don't have the second monitor port don't be sad!!! More than likely you have open pci slots available on your motherboard.

    What does this mean?
    It means you can buy some PCI videocards!
    What does THAT mean?
    It means, if you have 3 open pci slots, you can buy 3 pci video cards ( $20-$40 ), and have a QUAD ( 4 ) monitor display ( 3 + your original port )!!!

    Your video card has the hook-up for 2 monitor's mine is alittle older and has only the 1 blue input and the S-Video is there an adapter that I can get to hook up the other monitor to the S-Video on the card?I have the GeForce FX 5500 card.Thanks

    What to hear something funny.I went to a electronic store's "Radio Shack" and that guy didn't know what a DVI adapter was for so I tried to tell him and he said I don't think we carry anything like that here.I know they did b/c a friend as bought one there before.The point I'm tryin to make is 99.8% of the people that work there should be FIRED.

    Can I hook-up the two monitor's on to different video card's like if I have the a Nvidia GeForce video card and a factory video card that came with the pc will it work like that?

    • Depends

      That depends on your motherboard. Probably not. Most of the on-board cards use the same connections as your after-market cards. When another card is detected the on-board chip is disabled. It's still possible though. I believe most on-board chips are AGP so if your Nvidia is PCI than it might work. Just check your desktop settings to find out. If you still think the on-board might be active than check device manager to make sure. Control Panel -> System -> hardware tab -> [device manager] -> ( ) display adapters. all your active video adapters will be listed here.

    just plug it into the back of ur computer and plug the other end to any tv that can support an svideo port. looks great on a plasma.

    I found out that mine does just this. I only use the digital input and not the analog input, but only for right now, til I get me another 19" wide screen to match the one I already have. Thanks alot. Good work.

      i guess that depends on the laptop... I do my editing and design in my studio and only use an older dell laptop when i travel.. not sure, but i am sure somebody here will have an answer answer this post. ask Batista 799 below.

    Wicked, however, there was this bloke who had a triple lead AVI one. He had 4 screens hooked up, it was actually quite cool, but a bit extreme.
    Lol, ive got one hooked up from my laptop (upstairs) to my comp (downstairs). Quite funny, cus i can say, mom, look at this, and shell go to the one downstairs, lol.

    What video card do you have?
    I have an Nvidia GeForce FX5500, it does have those plugs but... when I check the display at the control panel I only can see one monitor :(

      if you have the ports in your VC hook up your second monitor and restart your PC and then check your display settings and it should see and show both.. then configure them:)
