By miskon 1171038692A push-up generally developes "push" muscles, i.e. chest, shoulder, triceps. Different push-ups can put emphasis on each group differently, such as the diamond push-ups that stress the triceps. Perhaps next time we will include this type of information.

By tot06 1171133831nothing original here. reg pushups for chest, incline for shoulders, diamond for triceps, and claps for fucktards. any retard knows those variations of pushups. and the last one has no benefit except maybe looking slightly cool till you you get ur face smashed to the back of your head... seriously ask any trainer, slower is usually better, claps are for showoffs.

Slow reps are typically the way to go but when trying to train expolosive power one must move with speed, as in the case of clap push-ups and plyometrics. As far as asking any trainer, I am a nationally certified personal trainer. Hopefully this has cleared things up for you.
