      Most insurgents from Iraq are not even from that country. They are foreign fighters from just about every country in the Middle East and some European countries. They go to Iraq for “Jihad "; holy war against America, and for most of them its the most exciting thing it has ever happened to their lives. Its like being a hippy and then knowing about Woodstock. Shouldn't they be considered as invaders and terrorists?

      To defend mrkelly, it is very likely they are shooting at terrorists, many of them flocked to Iraq to cause trouble and for their jihad. 2nd, even if they are shooting at iraqis they would be considered terrorists. When they fight the U.S. they are not fighting to protect their lands, it is already their lands. The Americans never took them to begin with. We are fightinhg alongside the IRAQI army from which the IRAQI government is very thankful; for our assistance. We, American and Iraqi forces, are mostly fighting insurgents not form Iraq. But if we do end up fighting an Iraqi then they are either fighting for their jihad or are simply really dumb because attacking us is only going to cause more trouble and keep us there longer. They dont realize that we are trying to keep order and if they attack they only make things worse. Jeeze they are godamn dumb bnot to know whats going on in their own country.

    I'm sorry, but I just can't get excited about the whole futile war thing. I can't understand how so many people that are total strangers hate and kill one another. It just seems like a whole bunch of scared and uncertain humans who don't have the courage to think for themselves. I say this because how could an individual possibly hate someone they have never met? Logically, they can't! Would you walk up to a stranger in your home town and shoot them in the back of the head?
