Amazing Ukulele (4 Stings Guitar) Player

this was the first song ive ever heard played on ukulele before, and it was a great first impression. This guy is very tallented as you already know, we need more artist like this in our mainstream. The view of music was forever changed into a galavanting of mostly bad music and good looks. Music needs to find its roots, and revert to stuff like this. Great job, plain and simple.

If you have seen this then you must have seen the version he plays with Tommy Emmanuel that is just aw striking, if you haven't seen it, I would recommend checking it out, the first time I saw this I was amazed and then I saw that version.

Listening to this made me feel really good, as if I was in harmony with my psyche.

I saw this guy play at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival a few years back. He had the audience enthralled. I had a chance to meet him briefly while I was there, he's a soft spoken unassuming, and friendly person. I am glad to see so many people appreciate his talent and wish him the best.

I have been a classical musician all my life and... only a handful of performances have brought tears to my eyes. Great song choice man... Not only impressive technique but even though some people would see the repetitions as a barrier you made them sing man... you made them sing. I'll definitely try to use ukulele in my future projects...

I'm a musician myself, and very much a purist when it comes to music. I love instrumental music, i always believe that if the player is a good virtuoso, then he/she should be able to make his/her instrument sing for them. This gentleman truly has great talent and technical ability. Beautiful to listen to. And can convey all emotions needed through his ability. Keep up the good work!

Playing a song that was meant for a different instrument is always harder. And this guy is playing almost all the parts of the song, vocals, lead guitar, and rhythm guitar, with just the ukulele. It's great.

I cant believe how stuck up your own arse you are, making judgements like that, do you realise how hard it is to play a string instrument? Seriously, it takes years to perfect a technique. I think it would comical to see someone as big headed as you trying to play that.

The "Jimmy Hendrix" of the Ukulele, he has a new cd out called Dragon, you can get it from his website www.jakeshima bukuro.com or itunes. i have seen him in concert on the 5th row back and amazing doesnt even come close to describe his talent. heartbeat is my favorite song from the album Walking Down Rainhill if you wanted another song to listen to. neway, he is fantastic and i recommend getting some of his music the speed/ complexity at which he plays is simply unbelievabe, if you have the means of going to a concert i highly recommend going to it and getting the closest seats possible enjoy

This is one of the most greatest songs in my opinion. If I'm not mistaken he said the song titles is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Beatles. He's very skilled.
