This a freshwater crocodile (not an alligator) and not considered dangerous to man. Even thought some people have been bitten no one has been killed by them. Our dangerous one up here in the "top end" of Australia is the saltwater crocodile (Saltie) and they can grow up to 5 meters and they do eat people. Ms Ginger Meadows a model from America was a victim and partly eaten in 1987.
