...he'll be safe, but there is a hunger threshold that goes beyond any faint primordial debts of gratitude the croc may harbour for him, in other words if the croc gets hungry enough it's primordial reptilian instincts will overide it's sense of any vestigial limbic affection and the guy WILL be killed and eaten, no doubt about it in my opinion.

When something near them moves instinct tells them to move towards it because it might be food, you can't domesticate an animal thats been here for millions of years, it looks like this croc just wasn't hungry, I have seen plenty of videos where people thought it was a pet and ended up paying a high price, eventually it will turn on him, you can't undo hard wired instinct.

if there were such thing as a friendly croc there wouldnt be something called nature!!!!!!!

If the crocodile was full grown at the time it wouldn't be friendly. but because it said he captured and helped it a young age the corc is unsure who is a threat to him and over time after the person takes care of it, it will grow to think the person is its mother
