I found a fix for the .avi bug that once in a while will give a 'file being used by another person or program' error message when you try to rename, delete or move an .avi file (usually large and/or corrupted and/or indexless avi files).     Thank you thank you thank you, but i cant help but wonder why oh why? And for the people like me out there, to get to the registry type 'regedit' in 'run' in the start menu, and HKLM refers to 'hkey local machine', and yes, feel free to say, "a duuuuh"

    • Seems to work OK.

      I have had this error with poor avi files. The program just deletes one key in the registry
      HKLM /SOFTWARE /Classes /SystemFile Associations /.avi /shellex /PropertyHandler
