There is never a bad dog only a bad owner, who use the reputation of the animal on there side, to boost there own lack of disappointment's in them selfs.

Pit Bulls may not necessarily be more aggressive than other dogs, but it seems like it. It certainly is possible because anyone who says that attitude and aggressiveness isn't genetic doesn't know a thing about animal breeding. How do you think animals got domesticated to start with? I've seen a video on a study done in Germany where they took wild foxes and only let the most tame of them breed. After like 7 generations you had a perfectly docile pet. Pit bulls are sometimes raised as fighters, and the most aggressive ones are sought out for breeding. That just doesn't happen with a Japanese Chin.

  They are banned in the uk because there are so many pricks here that bought them and trained them to be aggressive, they think its cool. Its a shame for the breed. When trained properly they make loyal pets. Its the same with staffies, chavs buy them thinking they look hard,then dont take the time to train them - they can become dangerous. i had mine from rescue centre, shes covered in scars and has never been socialised with other pets so therefore has to be muzzled and stay on a lead. its certain cruel humans that cause dogs to be banned.
