Cool video I found on YouTube.

After the first plane hit one of the towers, this cameraman set up his home video camera on a balcony 1 block from the world trade centers and left the room to let it record unknowing a 2nd plane would hit and he would catch it on tape.

      that's what steel frames are for, to make sure that building will not survive the plane crashing into it.
      Though it is wierd that the top half didn't fall on the side. And everyone said that the steel melted and gave way, but did not bend... At all.

    • I thought the second tower was going to ...

      I did not realize at the time that the frame was not built on the outside. The frame was in the middle (kind of like those stackable colored rings for babies) ... once the upper floors collapsed (downward, of course), well, think of it like a freight train building momentum. Each floor was not meant to be able to support the weight of all the floors above it.
      BTW, both planes really did crash into the towers, and, no, I was not crazy enough to wait around for the towers to fall. Even a good walk farther uptown, it was scary when they fell.

    I lost alot of brothers from the fire fighting community,as I'm a volunteer fire fighter.
    I spent my 1 week vacation at ground zero sifting through the rubble looking for fallen brothers.

    In the event of a tragedy like this, people look past what happened and start playing the blame game. "Omg bush did it" blah blah blah. You know, I actually feel sorry for Bush; this happens and blame and talks about a cover-up erupt.
