- You can use a wave generator
  we did this in electronics class using an old woofer and a wave generator.

  You'd need to get a pure tone generator and connect it to your amplifier. Not gonna work with regular, 'jumbled' sound.

  you just have to change the frequence so when the frequence of the sound will be the same of the normal frequence of the table or a multiply of it it make the shapes like that
  it needs some simple vibrating laboratory equipments to change the frequences
