Everyone eats insects everyday....
you just don't realize it. They are so prevelant in the food we eat, the FDA sets limits on how many bug parts can be in each type of food. Like, no more than 6 body segments of a fly for every 12 ounces of peanut butter. And before you get too uppity, if eating a scavenger with 6 legs, a tough exoskeleton and antenae disgusts you... well, take a good look at the lobster, crab, and shrimp you are eating at that fancy restaurant.

  You people eat pork (i don't) but you know that pig would eat a tyre if you'd gave him, if it comes to it a pig would even eat his mother, seems more disgusting than eating a scorpion to me...

The fun thing about the insects that are grown for consumption, is that they are bred in amazingly clean environements (more than a bovine farm for that matter...and probably more than a lot of people's house hehe). Those roaches arent the ones that live in crummy appartments or in sewers, they are certainly more hygienic and healthy than what you eat at your local fast food :-)

It all comes back to the same problem, people are scared of what they do not know (food, other cultures) ! I say, bring that cricket salad and ant egg soup here please !
