Give me a break. Since when is amputation of a persons private parts justified with THAT as a reason? Haven't you heard of a bath or shower? How many women would allow that "extra skin" they have to be removed just to be "cleaner"? It's not right to do it to either boys or girls. Period. j3ttagri420 - there are several varieties of female genital cutting (not all is circumcision) 1 type actually enhances female pleasure by removing or opening the clitoris hood (similar to male circumcision). Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with any form of mutilation to children.

I suspect the victim in this case was subjected to one of the more extreme forms of female genital mutilation (hence the proceedings).
