I am the owner of this video. This shows the #1 High School Player OJ MAYO in the world being ejected from a basketball game and looks like the Referee fakes a fall to try to get him tossed for one year. West Viriginia Basketball rules are that anyone getting two technicals in a game will be suspended for the next two games. Any player touching a Ref could be out for one year! Referees are Judges of games and they have nobody over them. OR DO THEY? However, a real Judge in the court of Law steped in and allowed OJ Mayo and 5 other Huntington Players that left the bench when the police came on the floor to play those games.
This Video could change the way High School basketball is being Refereed and these REFs have to much power!

    You heard it here first! OJ Mayo and Patterson are thinking about going to WVU. Since the new changes in coaching at WVU this might happen. Both players wanted to play for Huggins before. Now they have the chance to play for him in the State of West Virginia. However OJ was saying and planning to attend USC. But now its up in the air. OJ come to WVU. I would LOVE to see you play college ball here before going PRO in 2008-2009 season. COME ON..lets go

    There are rumors in Morgantown of a new coach Bob Huggins bringing such high school stars as Michael Beasley, O.J. Mayo and Patrick Patterson into the university city. WOW if coach Huggins pulls this off. LOOK OUT BIG EAST and a National Championship team could be brewing in West Virginia. West Virginia had one of the greatest high school team and now it could have one of the greatest College team too. AND DONT forget WVU and Jerry West's Son. He can shoot lights out.

    he's not playing for WVU, that would be dumb. besides that, he's playing for USC out in Cali. The only one on the team that may play for WVU would be Patterson cause i hear his family is good friends with WVU's coach. But I hope he goes to Florida, which would be the smart move.

      the only reason he's going to USC is so he can be a big shot. He could have easily gone to Duke or UCLA, but he wouldn't look very good compared to a bunch of good players.

      No, if you didn't watch the NCAA tournament USC made it to the sweet 16. He'll be playing alongside Taj Gibson, Nick Young, and Gabe Pruitt (considering none of them go to the NBA). USC will have a very strong team next year, regardless of Mayo, he is just adding to the talent and depth of the USC team, while being able to MARKET himself in a great city. He's not going to Duke or UCLA because it's pointless to be just another good player on a good team when he'll leave in one year. Can't be mad at him for being a good businessman.

      Um, a couple of points: first, Young and Pruitt are gone! ANYone familiar with u$c (at least pre Galen Center opening) would have seen that coming. The fact is, a HUGE reason why they left is BECAUSE they know Mayo would've been hogging the spotlight during his 1-year audition (I mean time at u$c) for the NBA. Another thing: UCLA didn't even offer him--wonder why? Let's see: punching HS girls, bumping refs, trafficking weed, etc. Character issues, perhaps?

      besides, he's just showing off. In case you missed the high school all-star game, he could have easily tied the game with a lay-up when he had an open lane with less than 10 seconds left. But instead, he just held on to the ball and waited till the last second to shoot a three. he missed. they lost. end of story.
