HE MADE AN ERROR, that is not easy to catch. After you add 10 on both sides to get to line two; On the line that says (2 - 5/2 ) ^ 2 this should actually be (2 5/2) ^ 2 . As you can see in the first line the 5/2 is positive not negative. Therefore on line 4 it would be 2 5/2 = 5/2 2 . Then line 5 would say 2 - 2 = 5/2 - 5/2 , which is 0 = 0 . This GUY IS AN IDIOT, THIS TRICK BLOWS.

When you took the square root of both sides of the equation, you had (2-5/2)^2 under the root, which equals -17/4. you cant have the square root of a negative number. The only case you can is if you are using imaginary numbers. In said case the square root of -1 for example, is represented by the letter i.

L'erreur dans ce raisonnement vient du fait que la racine carrée de (2-(5/2))^2 ne donne pas 2-(5/2), mais plutot la valeur absolue de (2-(5/2)). Il prétend que 2-(5/2)=(5/2)-2, mais c'est complètement faux, dû justement au fait que la racine carrée d'un nombre au carré donne la valeur absolue du nombre, et non pas seulement le nombre lui-même. Les trois premieres lignes de son raisonnement sont vraies, mais pas les trois dernieres.

(5! IS 5 FACTORIAL) WHICH IS THE SAME AS 1*2*3*4*5=120

SO HE HAS UNWITTINGLY GIVEN THE EQUATION 2+2=120

What the heckkkk???Man u didn't heard before about absolute values, well as i remember when i was 10, the witch who used to teach me math told me: "Son before removing the square roots u must guarantee that what u get is a positive number". So sqr (2-5/2)^2=abs (2-5/2) = 5/2-2 Also it is better to begin ur genius solution directly by stating that: sqr (2-5/2)^2 = sqr (2-5/2)^2 y u began by an irrelevant step.
