L has an odd love of sugar, and constantly eats sugary food. Light has never asked for any of them, not once. No person could pass up that many desserts constantly, even Kira, unless on a diet. We know Light must be egotistical, as he has styled hair and a healthy facial complexion, and wears fairly nice clothes. He works out fairly often (tennis). So he would not eat at either McDonald's or Burger King, but instead opt for Subway.
