Old Fez defies the centuries with residential and commercial areas little changed from medieval times. It's a gigantic time capsule, full of narrow, twisting lanes that prevent motorized vehicles from entering. Transport is by horse and mule. This clip also shows a few modern adaptations. The clip is a segment of "From Flamenco to Fez", presenting a trip to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal.
It features Madrid, Toledo, Grenada (the Alhambra), Seville (Spain), Fez and Marrakesh in Morocco, Lisbon, & Fatima in Portugal, plus a lavish Berber spectacle of music, dancing, & horse riding.
