In such a kind of interesection no matter how the ligh is ... U have to be carefull to watch around for the other cars !!!!

...the traffic lights would be of any help there! They'd just get smashed up like the one they had in the clip. Its in the attitude dude, not in the traffic regulations.

It's definitely one of the stupidest road traffic system I have ever seen. The authority is to be blamed for such prevalance of accidents.

The way I see it, they should build a round point in the middle of the intersection and cars will be moving slower thus preventing such accidents.

The accidents are more due to the slippery surface because of ice than the lack of driving skills. It surprises my why they don't use winter tyres on their cars?

Most intersections do not have lights or stop signs. You get a yellow light just before green so you can rev it up or get a head start. There are no lane markings, so you can treat it as two, three, or four lanes. Cars have the right of way over pedestrians. If you are at fault, you still don't have to pay for the other car. You go as fast as you can beteween intersections. Even babushki (grandmothers) literally RUN across the street. The police don't write tickets or come for accidents.

We're only shown crashes, not the other hours upon hours of people actually driving properly. Every case was people darting out without looking (only one guy seems to even TRY to swerve), which happens even with lights. Look at the dates, they're months apart -- meaning there were months and months of no trouble between them. These are very isolated incidents, obviously.
