I think we need a video of a rock-truggy rollong over a line new imports.

I've seen first hand some very impressive climbs. I highly doubt there is a winch or rig. As for how it got there, for one, they usually have nothing in front of the tires to keep it from climing up such as a low bumper but the do have rock crawling bumpers set at an angle for the vehicle to ride up on the rock. Second, each wheel is independantly controlled by a break lever in the cab so you may keep one corner of the truck stay put. So many variables in it, low pressure tires, high horsepower, shocks, etc. Good Climb.

If there were a winch on it, it wouldn't have sat there spinning its tires before it made it up there. He had a great set of tires, a good gear ratio, and hub lockers.

Do you have any clips of UNIMOGS. Years ago (I am 81 yrs old) I ownned one. Their climbing ability was incredible, they were widely used by Germany to haul the 88's around.

Its funny, but some people see something that they dont understand, or cannot comprehend how its done, and immediately its a fake!

I live in Wales in the UK. We go to places where roads dont exist, we make our own makeshift track, which is nearly always straight up, where you cannot possibly walk it without a rope, and yet, we drive the trucks up empty and down with up to 20 tonnes of logs all day, yet people cannot see how its possible.

But if you listen carefully there is a woman yelling "pull, pull...." so we really don't know the whole picture. Also looks like some other vehicles are already up there. The most impressive part is that he does make up up the face of the cliff and right over the top of a very large boulder.

Obviously, there is a wench attached to the front that you can't see from this view of the truck. NO WAY it could climb a vertical face like that!

I played a computer game like this once. getting a custom built truck like this over very hilly landscape.

We do the same (well almost) with our Jeeps...great fun.

I do alot of off roading in my 4x4, I bent my skid plates up into my transfer casing, thats 7 inches, doing rock climbing like this in Utah. Thatb is one great rock truck you have there. Awesome...
