      The on the right is NOT Bush, that was actor Jack Webb. They were doing a parody or a police drama TV show called DRAGNET. Jack Webb was the star and producer of the show from 1951 to about 1970.

      To bone up on your cultural history. Jack Webb and Dragnet were the most famous police show and actor on same ever on TV, even more so than Hill Street Blues. "The actor" as you identify him was among the most recognizable and iconic figures ever seen on TV. Like it or not, television is this planet's modern "village cryer." To have no idea of the history presented on that box over the last fifty years simply condemns you to cultural and historic ignorance.
