    I have no sympathy for those arrested. Hope they went to jail and didn't just get deported. Why people can't just enjoy the sport and have friendly, good natured rivalry is beyond me.

    The second video was from france 98. I was there in amongst those lot. English always get the bad press it unfair. it takes 2 groups to fight. We were sitting drinking and some turks drove by and started to throw bottles at us. We didnt do anything to start the trouble but were the only ones attacked by police due to the english reputation. Its bullshit it happens all the time and the english get the blame.

    The people who think that the fans arrested got what they desreved are blinkered pricks with no idea. I have been with my club, and England home and away. I am not saying we are innocent, but some of the police treatment is worse than you give to animals. If some of these people who left comments could only experience what fans go through then they may think otherwise. Climb out of your little shells, and live in a fucking real world where you don't sit on the fence and be prepared to be treated like shit. I totally agree, it takes 2 sets of fans (and one set of useless police) to fight. Any responses will be gladly appreciated
