I saw this type of painting here on meta cafe and I started watching lots these kinds of clips. I finally decided to get some cheap cans from Wal Mart and gave it a shot. This video is my second ever attempt, my first attempt ended quickly when i figured out you don't let the paint dry, you just keep going.

  • nice, but needs work,

    u need to try some different techniques for your stars so that u dont have big blobs that come out. i recommend pressing lightly on the cap so that paint sprinkles out. or u can spray on fingers and flick the paint on. check out my vid and comment. go to youtube and search xtreme4l1f3

      but this was my first time trying which was over a few months ago.

      i got alot more to learn but i got all the basic down on lock.

      now only if i could get the money to buy some paint haha.

    You have your own style and it looks good.
    The other comments are right about putting your light colors under the black paint.
    A good rule of thumb when it comes to spraypaint art: Always spray lightest to darkest. Your black should always be your last layer.
    Lookin good though.

      The thing about that is I only had 3 cans of pain, black white and blue. heh, i did what i could with what i could. im only 17 so im not allowed to buy paint and money limits me anyways. =/ I actually made 40 bucks off these paintings though. made 8 with the paint i had and sold them 5 bucks each to people at school
