An acted play written by members of the Quill Writing Group, based around the local legend of 'The KittyWitches', ladies whom allegedly went around the town (wearing their husbands clothes with faces smeared blood) at certain times of the year demanding money for food, clothes and beer !!! These ladies had numerous reasons for doing what they did, some were widowed fishermen's wives with no way to pay bills, etc. This video has been performed to the public and has already been given good acclaim. Enjoy a slice of this forgotten morsel of Great Yarmouth's past. (...and yes, we did gatecrash the Mayor's parade celebrating the bicentennial of Admiral Nelson during the filming of this vid. Film Produced by Mark Sargeant (www.marksargeant.blogspot.com)
