It takes too much time... here is a fast...
Download PhotoShop CS2 with plugins and there is a plugin named: FIRE. So that is easyer 'couse you just select any image or text etc. file and you just select this FIRE plugin and you resolve it with one click.

  because of the smudge strokes this will always look better than the plugin and more natural, but that's a good way to go about it too if your a bit lazy :)

it's nice
but, comment about the text, you typed it earlier and you typed it again for the last step,.. but why you didnt duplicate the text at the beginning before you merge it to the black background so that it will stay in place and no little worry about aligning it..

one more thing about the duplicated invisible layer at the top, for what use it is?

For a better effect...
You could have added the last layer for ur name a belnding of multiply or screen or overlar or linear dodge or smehting to amke it more realistic

How is this video which i spent time to make not eligible for producers awards? This is blasphemy, i uploaded the video at a high quality and your system compressed it and then tells me its poor quality?

You guyz are a bunch of liars. You don't appreciate what i have done.

  you place it in your windows fonts folder
  
  e.g. c:windowsonts
  
  and after that when you open photoshop you can select it there
