    • Not skirts, kilts!

      A skirt will go once round the waist, and is a reasonable weight
      A man's kilt is highly pleated, made of quite heavy wool and goes THREE and a half times around the waist (and weighs an awful lot!)

    although the quality of the pics is not very good - most enjoyable - and brings back memories of childhood in darkest africa - remeber young folk - that soldiers marched to their deaths to this music - and the Scots in my humble opinion are a very special folk.

      My Grandfather was a Kosbie. 300 years of tradition, now sadly gone with the regimental amalgamations. The tunes are; Cullen Bay on the march in, Mist Covered Mountains is the name of the slow tune, then, Itchie Fingers, then one I can't remember, then a jig called The Glasgow Police Pipers.

    The Kings own Scottish Boardersare great. Big sound from so few members in this band. Gives me chills. Guys in kilts are yummy and the bagpipes and drums music is wonderful
