Lupe Moreno Speaks Out Against Illegal Immigration

This woman has issues. she believes this is "her" country, she is obviously very confused, talking about morals and being a godly woman, yet advocating to the denial of HUMAN RIGHTS and creating a separation amongst her own people. How can she differentiate between "Latino-Americans", "Mexicans" and "illegal". She can easily be placed in the same category as any "illegal" and "non-american mexican". She looks Mexican and speaks/understands Spanish, where did her Mexican ancestors come from? the laws have changed forcing the "illegal" entry of people into this country, but there has always been and influx of people looking for the opportunity to a better life in this country, and there has always been the availability of employment and the desire for their cheap labor. yes there are SOME criminals that may be undocumented, but to generalize all people in who have this status is ignorant. i am a 4th year at the University of California at Berkeley and i know many brilliant people who are students and alumni of this institution that are "illegals" as this woman likes to call them, that have accomplished and will contribute so much more to this country than many "American citizens". it is ridiculous for someone to generalize and to create such a negative image of such a diverse group of people. i agree rid the country of the dangers to society, but why target a community of working people, or students who are only working to better their lives and this country.
