I have a friend who played guitar for 4-6hrs a day for 3yrs now and he can't play this shit. he can play some AMAZING stuff that blows my mind, but hes not at this caliber..yet. I have been playing for 1yr, 2hrs each day or so and I am nowhere near this level. Much respect to this guy and all the guitarists out there who have such command over their instrument. Peace.

I just can't. Technical skills must serve a good music, not the musician's ego. This guy play better than me, but though I'm a begginer, I know that music is about emotion and feelings, not speed of light. I wish I had his skills but I definitely do not envy his inspiration.

We are ruled by the juntas. Music is our only hope. Musicians can’t even express what and how they feel about bad things which happen to them and citizens of Burma. They can’t express their hatreds in the lyrics except romance. What can you do to ROCK just with romance?

Chit San Maung has played guitars since he was 5. He met Saw Bwae Mhuu, his teacher when he was 12. I am not sure how many hours he practices a day. What we know is he is married to the guitar. From our point of views, he is the best guitarist in my country till today. It has been 16 years since we know him, he is still the best.

In this clip, he is trying very hard to let us, Burmese have happy moments, happy moments in our difficult life. You can hear how much we are happy at the end. We appreciate him and his passion so much. The band is still giving us so much energy till today.

I have many to say. But I think this should stop people who don’t appreciate the work here and talk unrelated topics.

I am very proud that we still have a Burmese musician who we can look up to.

The parts played with both hands on the neck are real nice, and was that a guitar or a keyboard when he played it on the blokes head? Hi people, I am a Burmese American, and FYI, this very talented dude is from Myanmar (Burma). (He is not from Mexico or anywhere else.) He is the lead guitarist from this very famous rock band called Iron Cross. I believe this video was shot in Burma some years ago. Iron Cross and this guitar genius toured US abt 3 yrs back, and I saw him do this live in NYC. He is truly gifted, but he is known to work hard at his profession also. Much kudos to this son of Burma! We're proud of you!!

This guy is well versed in many different musical styles as well as very creative in the way he uses hit guitar.
As for the comments, you all need to get over yourselves and just enjoy the music for what it is. It makes no difference what nationality someone is, because art knows no borders.
