  • Malmsteen is better

    Malmsteen plays the clasical part in this video a hell of a lot better.....Its more smooth and running not a punching feel

    This about the stiffest attempt at a classical gutiar piece I've seen. If you want to see a real classcial guitarist try, Andre's Segovia or John Williams. This guy is great on a solid body electric (incredible) but stiff stiff STIFF .. he's all technique, speed, and no ability to create a truely melodic composition

      and there are styles. He plays this particular piece his way. But that does not mean he can't play it another way. I am sure he plays something that would satisfy someone, but maybe not everyone. Such is the music world... I know I wouldn't mind having half his talent.

    Is that a water tube coming from his guitar, OH No, it's a power cord. It looks and sounds like it my be attached to an amplifier. Am I missing something. Unplugged from what???? He is plugged in man here. Love his talent, who is he, wheres he from?

      What I understand is that being UNPLUG doesn't necessarily mean that the insturment has to totally not attached by any of the elcetrical device. How can the audience can hear those strings producing sound without amplifier?

      It means not using electrical synthesizers, like 'no distorted' sound. You can hear the sound as it is produced by the instrument.

      Sometimes, the sound of natural flute, harmonica or violin sounds SYNTHESIZED from the electric organ are also called UNPLUGGED! You might think it is crazy.
