  • yeah...

if someone were to rob a bank with that many people and that much firepower and put that many rounds into a window its pretty safe to assume that they wanted you dead more than they wanted money.
And the glass does help, even if the bullet penetrated the glass it still was slowed and might not have enough velocity to puncture skin.

  • come on

I don't think that the person behind the glass is going to keep standing there while another person is shooting at them. Normal people would duck and hide behind something when they hear gunshots.

  • "Bulletproof"

doesn't actually mean "bulletproof", just like the depth ratings on your wristwatches..."20M" does NOT mean you can dive to 20 meters with it on. Good luck finding some glass than can keep out a few rounds from an assault rifle... small arms fire and shotguns are a whole other story though.

  • Come on here.....

Just how many rounds of rifle and shotgun ammunition fired at the same sheet of glass do you expect it to protect someone? Get real!

  • Idiots

Do you EXPECT toughened glass to take a magazine full of shots from an assault rifle?

    No.

Does this mean it is not "useful protection" from fewer shots of lesser weapons?

Bollocks - of course it it.

This is a classic case of "big kids with guns" having some fun and trying to pass the results off as something meaningful. Grow up, lads, and stop trying to scare bank tellers.

Better still stop playing with assault rifles altogether.
