why not?
why not just use administrator tools in the control panel to format your disc? I never ever see anyone use this or any web sites sugest it either. xp will delete partitions and wipe your disc without the installation disc.

Not for cleaning and selling...
Should have told those wishing to do this and sell laptop/pc that you can still get info from it. Use wipedisk to completely delete all info on hard disk, then follow the instructions. This should keep your data from falling into the wrong hands.
