one round surface (the ball) hitting another round surface (crossbar). when that happens the angle and trajectory of the ball needs to be precise to the dot to have the same bounce back 4 times in a row. your telling me he can do that while the ball is airborne with dozens of other variables to affect the ball's flight including ball spin and wind? and if he can do this so easily, why doesnt he do it in a game? this is like that stupid lebron james video where he sinks 4 from the other side of the court.

I saw the raw footage with a man in a "blue-suit" who was edited out later on. He held a looong pole with the ball attatched to the end of it, and just fed the ball back to Mr. Wizard Ronaldinho. That' why you only see the shots from far away, 'cause you would notice that the ball isn't spinninge the way it should.
Nicely done though, and all the juggeling he does before and after is real. So he's still one of the most amazing players of all times. Almoast Maradona-class. (But only almoast... :-)

If this video is real then Ronaldinho should be able to hit the cross bar whenever he likes, secondly he doesnt strike the ball to match the amount of bounce back. CGI is really decieving nowadays so i we shouldnt just dimiss the idea. Also the camera does zoom out a lil so you cant really get a clear view of whats happening. sure it looks real thats the whole point, the camera is on a tripod, and everything is shot, he gets as close as he can and they use the best of the best, the keep throwing him back the ball over the post he catches it juggles then repeats again and again until they have enough footage to work with, the people playing in the background is what makes the shot belivable, but this can also be achieved by either markers or just masking them out, then they zoom in a bit, and some shaking to the camera so it looks like it was shot hand held, all in all it probably took an hour or 2 to shoot, but good work to whomever put this together, i played soccer my whole life and there is no way that he really did this not a chance

Nike's done several of these commercials that appear real, but are really fake. That's why they zoom in and focus on the shoes so much at the start. (Either that or it's powerade, they've done several of these too). The one guy who talked about the Vick ad---it's the same thing. I know he's great---but I know for a fact that this is fake. Look up the ads, my friends, just look them up. It's not technically impossible what he did, but this particular incident (the hitting the goal post over and over, not the juggling) is fake.

When I first watched the clip I though to myself, well it's Ronaldinho. If there is anyone in the world who can do something like this it would be him. As you watch the clip above you see that the first time he kicks the ball to the post it is going very slowly. Second and third times are pretty hard but the forth time he is kicking the shit out of that ball. I have noticed that every time the ball hits the post the sound is the same. Then I recorded the clip as wave file to Cool Edit Pro to see if the sound waves look the same. Shockingly they do. As it appears they have used the same sound effect every time the ball hits the post.
