have ps cs2 here.. i can't fill the hair, when i fill the middle part gets a dark red color ..not transparent as in the video..and in the end..i got the rest of the hair color change, not the hair color..annoying4649034- 0

This tutorial is very nice..but it goes rather fast, so it a bit misleading for a novice to Photoshop.

This guy is using the Quick selection tool, he selects black as the primary forground color and paints over the image...this is the red that you see...and this is what seems so misleading: When the whole hair turns to red, it is that he changes to a drawing he has already saved before and shows you the complete are already selected and with all the mistakes corrected. For correction he paints in Quick mask mode but he uses the white color as a primary forground color..and that is it.
